George and Tina Dennis and Ask W Stables’ Fivedollarsforsox ($6.60, George Dennis) earned his fifth win of the season in the $16,000 Junior Open Trot in 1:57 Wednesday at Harrington Raceway
.
The SJs Caviar gelding surged by pacesetter Rose Run Flash approaching three-quarters and held off a strong late charge by Nordic Venture for his fifth win of the year. Fash Bash Girl finished third.
‘Sox’ was the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association’s co-trotter of the meet at Harrington in 2009 and is picking up where he left off, already with three wins on the half-mile track in 2010.
