All Turain Continues Streak In 2014

Making his 2014 debut, All Turain continued the win streak he began last September with a front-stepping score in Saturday's $2,200 Preferred Pace at Charlottetown Driving Park.

All Turain won the top class in 1:57 flat by two and a quarter lengths over Perfect Escape and Touch Of Lightning. Caught three-wide early leaving from post five, driver Brodie MacPhee urged the favourite on. The five-year-old Tell All gelding never looked back once he cleared near the quarter-mile mark.

All Turain now boasts an eight-win streak, which includes last year's Jennie & Joe Chippin Memorial at Fredericton Raceway, Johnny Conroy Memorial at Truro Raceway, J.A. Ferguson Memorial at Northside Downs and Island Pacing Series spanning Red Shores' Summerside and Charlottetown racetracks.

MacPhee has been in the sulky since the start of All Turain's winning crusade. He is owned by Lee Hicken of Charlottetown and trainer Trevor Hicken of Montague, P.E.I.

Jason Hughes was the only repeat winner on Saturday's 13-race card as he scored a training and driving triple.
