A front-end score aboard Zorgwijk Freedom set the tone for the rest of the night for trainer-driver Justin Turcotte, who earned victories aboard all three of his starters Wednesday night at Sudbury Downs

.

After pulling off the 19-1 upset in the opening event, Turcotte was back at it in the very next race, this time with the odds-on favourite. The resident of Campbellville, Ont. sent Lady Sylberun first over to prevail despite suffering interference and broken equipment. The seventh race offered Turcotte a chance to score the hat trick and that's just what he did. He edged out the favourite to win with 5-1 shot Gems Greek.

Turcotte has sent out 126 winners to date, 12 this year, while banking over $1 million in earnings.
