The 2011 season has been a very kind one to the Allard brothers, and Tuesday’s 12-race program at Georgian Downs helped them bolster their impressive totals

Starters sent out by trainer Rene Allard found their way to the winner’s circle three times, and they were all driven by Simon Allard. The young reinsman also tacked on a catch-driving win behind the Bill James-trained Dino The Rocket to bring his nightly win total to four.
Team Allard started their win parade with Planet Earth (1:56.2) in Race 4 and it continued with Veal Marsala (1:53.4) in Race 8 and with Morven (1:58.1) in Race 10.
Rene has already sent out 139 winners this season while banking close to $1.2 million in earnings along the way. Simon has recorded 127 wins this year, and those wins have helped him rake in close to $1.4 million in purse earnings.
