The Ontario Racing Commission today issued a ruling in regard to Jim Whelan's appeal of ORC judges'
ruling number SB 40714, which was issued against him May 7, 2009.
As per ORC rules 1.02, 5.11 and 7.06, Whelan was ordered to comply with the Woodbine Entertainment Group's track rules if he wished to enter horses at WEG tracks.
The ORC has decided that the initial ruling has been stayed, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 24.06.
