As we near the end of May, harness racing's future stars are preparing for competition.

Many of those two-year-olds comprise the 2022 TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable, with entries closing on Friday, May 27. Trot Insider will break down the contenders in each category as the deadline approaches. (All entries and results information is up to date as of publication.)

Our previous features examined the participants comprising Groups A and BGroups C and DGroups E and F as well as Groups G and H. This feature looks at the two-year-old contenders in Groups I through L.

GROUP I - Two-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings

Admiral Hanover (Captaintreacherous - American Jewel) is a full brother to 17-time winner U S Captain (p, 3, 1:49 [$346,015]). The son of two-time O'Brien Award winner American Jewel was a $350,000 yearling purchase from the Harrisburg yearling sale. 

Twin B Nation (American Ideal – Lovely Erin) is the fourth foal out of the Sportswriter mare Lovely Erin and a half brother to Bet The Line (p, 3, 1:56.2f [$40,259]). He was a $300,000 purchase from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Save America (Captaintreacherous – My Lady Day) is a half-brother to a pair of stakes winners in Stag Party (p, 2, 1:50.4s [$962,645]) and Hen Party (p, 3, 1:49.2f [$594,518]). He was a $300,000 purchase from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Andy Mac Hanover (Captaintreacherous – Ameraway) is the second foal out of the American Ideal mare Ameraway and a full brother to stakes-placed three-year-old Atlas Hanover (p, 3, 1:52f [$114,519]). He was a $295,000 purchase from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Steel Cowboy (Bettors Delight – Dismissal) is the second foal out of the Western Terror mare Dismissal. He is a half brother to Bythemissal (p, 3, 1:51.1f [$36,250]) and was purchased for $275,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Sheer Terror (Always B Miki – Economy Terror) is the fifth foal out of Breeders Crown winner Economy Terror. He is a half brother to stakes winners Market Based (p, 3, 1:50.2f [$250,911]) and One Eight Hundred (p, 3, 1:48 [$151,679]). He was purchased for $270,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Combustion (Captaintreacherous – Acquavella) is a full brother to freshman stakes winner Captain Ahab (p, 2, 1:50.4s [$174,902]) and a half brother to stakes-placed mares Heart Of Mine (p, 2, 1:53.2h [$350,565]) and Sail By (p, 2, 1:50.4 [$87,680]). He was purchased for $260,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Fout (Bettors Delight – Weeper) is a three-quarter brother to two-time winner Royal Tears (p, 3, 1:55f [$9,975]). He is the third foal out of half-million-dollar winner Weeper and was purchased for $250,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Cabot Beach (Captaintreacherous – Santa Rosa) is a three-quarter brother to stakes winner Pebble Beach (p, 2, 1:48.4 [$366,250]). He was purchased for $250,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Chronicle (Downbytheseaside – Tookaloo Hanover) is the first foal out of the Art Major mare Tookaloo Hanover. He was purchased for $230,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

GROUP J - Two-Year-Old Pacing Fillies

Seashell (Captaintreacherous – Aria Hanover) is the fourth foal out of the Well Said mare Aria Hanover as well as a full sister to stakes winners Blue Diamond Eyes (p, 3, 1:47.2 [$1,152,714]) and Captain Kirk (p, 4, 1:47.4 [$388,208]). She was purchased for $450,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Bellisima Hanover (Captaintreahcerous – Bedroomconfessions) is a full sister to stakes winner Boudoir Hanover (p, 2, 1:49.4 [$240,716]) and the second foal out of millionaire mare Bedroomconfessions. She was purchased for $400,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Stop The Show (Sweet Lou – Come See The Show) is the first foal out of the Somebeachsomewhere mare Come See The Show, herself the second foal out of world champion Put On A Show. She was purchased for $400,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Knights Tale (Captaintreacherous – Dragons Tale) is a full sister to stakes winner Workin Ona Mystery (3, p, 1:48.1 [$891,069]). She was purchased for $350,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Caviart Davia (Captaintreacherous – My Little Dragon) is the ninth foal out of the star mare My Little Dragon and is a three-quarter sister to stakes winner Stay Hungry (p, 3, 1:47.3 [$1,358,086]) and a full sister to stakes winners Treacherous Dragon (p, 3, 1:49.1 [$324,862]) and Force N Fury (p, 2, 1:50.2 [$212,147]). She was purchased for $340,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Captain Cassiopeia (Captaintreacherous – Classic Star) is the eighth foal out of the Cams Card Shark mare Classic Star, who herself is a full sister to Bettors Delight. She is also a half sister to millionaire Blue Moon Stride (p, 4, 1:48.4s [$1,244,786]). She was purchased for $325,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Froufrou Hanover (Captaintreacherous – Fresh Idea) is a half sister to stakes-winning mare Bettors Up (p, 3, 1:49.4s [$1,204,934]). She was purchased for $300,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Prosecco Princess (Captaintreacherous – Sakura Hanover) is a half sister to stakes winners Miso Fast (p, 4, Q1:49 [$897,881]) and Forty Five Red (p, 4, 1:50.1h [$732,228]). She was purchased for $285,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Odds On Sauvecito (Captaintreacherous – World Of Rock) is a half sister to Breeders Crown champ Peaky Sneaky (p, 3, 1:48 [$803,211]). She was purchased for $270,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Star So Bright (Bettors Delight – Sun Shines Bright) is the first foal out of the Somebeachsomewhere mare Sun Shines Bright, herself a daughter of star mare American Jewel. She was purchased for $250,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

GROUP K - Two-Year-Old Trotting Colts & Geldings

Ari Ferrari J (Walner – Dream Child) is a half brother to stakes winner You Ato Dream (t, 3, 1:52.2f [$593,852]). He was purchased for $620,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Craft Made (Walner – Woodshopper) is the seventh foal out of the Muscles Yankee mare Woodshopper and a full brother to stakes winner Fashionwoodchopper (t, 2, 1:53 [$490,858]). He was purchased for $610,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Oh Well (Muscle Hill – Fine Tuned Lady) is the first foal from stakes-winning mare Fine Tuned Lady (t, 3, 1:52.2 [$643,987]). He was purchased for $530,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Powhatan (Muscle Hill – Danae) is the ninth foal from Hambletonian Oaks winner Danae. He is a full brother to stakes winners Dream Together (t, 4, 1:51.3 [$893,046]), Dorsay (t, 4, 1:51.4 [$450,683]) and Propulsion (t, 4, 1:52.1 [$86,738]). He was purchased for $500,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Cypress Hanover (Muscle Hill – Cedar Dove) is the fourth foal out of Breeders Crown winner Cedar Dove. He is a full brother to Hambletonian Oaks winner When Dovescry (t, 4, 1:50 [$1,719,328]). He was purchased for $475,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Cadillac Moon (Muscle Hill – Order By Wish) is a full brother to stakes winners Marseille (t, 3, 1:51.4 [$518,285]) and Rome Pays Off (t, 3, 1:52.3 [$454,778]). He was purchased for $400,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Double Dippin (Walner – Borrow And Spend) is the fourth foal out of the Credit Winner mare Borrow And Spend, herself a full sister to stakes winner Dejarmbro and a half sister to Shared Past. He was purchased for $300,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Little Expensive (Muscle Hill – Seviyorum) is the first foal out of the stakes-winning mare Seviyorum (t, 1:53.1f [$501,372]). He was purchased for $260,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Anointed (Tactical Landing – Graceful Touch) is the 12th foal out of Graceful Touch. He is a more-than-half brother to Hambletonian winner Muscle Massive (t, 3, 1:51 [$1,245,297]) and Muscle Mass (t, 2, 1:53.4 [$229,000]). He was purchased for $260,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Bourbon Courage (You Know You Do – Luv U All) is the second foal out of the Angus Hall mare Luv U All. He is a half brother to Hambletonian winner Captain Corey (t, 1:51f [$1,090,333]). He was purchased for $260,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

GROUP L - Two-Year-Old Trotting Fillies

Exile (Walner – Swan Hot Mama) is a half sister to stakes winners Altar (t, 3, 1:50.3 [$229,206]) and Repentance (t, 3, Q1:53.3 [$278,854]). She was purchased for $800,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Mandrill (Chapter Seven – Steamy Windows) is a full sister to three-time Breeders Crown winner Gimpanzee (t, 4, 1:50 [$2,792,478]) and stakes-winner Iteration (t, 3, 1:53.1s [$780,818]). She was purchased for $750,000 from the Lexington-Select Yearling Sale.

In Italian (Chapter Seven – Hemi Blue Chip) is a full sister to Hambletonian winner and world champion Atlanta (t, 3, 1:49 [$3,334,788]). She was purchased for $750,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Swanky Hanover (Muscle Hill – Secret Magic) is a full sister to world champion Manchego (t, 4, 1:49 [$3,279,400]) and stakes winner In Secret (t, 3, 1:52.3f [$993,476]). She was purchased for $700,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Wall To Wall (Walner – Pearl Axe It) is the fourth foal out of the Love You mare Pearl Axe It. She is a half sister to six-time winner Hall It Off (3, 1:56.3f [$49,635]). She was purchased for $525,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Walner Payton (Walner – Lonely Lady) is the second foal out of the Muscle Hill mare Lonely Lady, herself a full sister to stakes winner Bar Hopping (t, 3, 1:51.4 [$1,385,293]). She was purchased for $510,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Cyberspace (Walner – Southwind Serena) is a half sister to world champion Mission Brief (t, 3, 1:50.2f [$1,657,399]) and stakes winner Tactical Landing (t, 3, 1:50.2 [$812,300]). She was purchased for $500,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.

Defacement (Muscle Hill – Thatsnotmyname) is a full sister to five-time winner Fifty Cent Piece (t, 3, 1:52.2f [$141,698]) and a half sister to stakes winner Basquiat (t, 3, 1:51.2 [$289,748]). She was purchased for $500,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Unicorn Blue Chip (Chapter Seven – Dunk The Donato) is a half sister to world champion Plunge Blue Chip (t, 3, 1:49.4 [$1,596,841]) and stakes winner Splash Blue Chip (t, 3, 1:51.4 [$474,623]). She was purchased for $475,000 from the Harrisburg Yearling Sale.

Karma Dolce (Muscle Hill – Megadolce) is the first foal out of the Cantab Hall mare Megadolce, herself a half sister to Hambletonian Oaks winner Bella Bellini (t, 3, 1:52.1 [$1,174,769]). She was purchased for $450,000 from the Lexington Select Yearling Sale.
