Do Me Better ($10.80) got the early jump on the field and cruised the rest of the way home in taking Buffalo Raceway's $20,139 featured conditioned event for distaff pacers on Friday afternoon, May 23. She beat Sweet Gadgets by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:56.1 over the fast track, equalling her seasonal best.

Beating the rail-sitting Rightfully Mine (Kyle Swift) to the punch in the early stages of the race, Do Me Better and driver Joseph Chindano Jr. settled in comfortably on the point, putting up moderate fractions of :28.4, :58.4 and 1:28.2. Enjoying the front end, Do Me Better found no takers down the stretch and breezed to the resounding win. Sweet Gadgets (Steven Hudon), the longest shot on the board at 30-1, collected the second-place cheque with Rightfully Mine picking up third place.

Do Me Better earned her third victory in 13 starts in 2025 for trainer Maggie Chindano, who co-owns with Jeff Savidge Racing. The four-year-old Always A Virgin-Do Me Good mare is now eight-for-40 lifetime and approaching the $100,000 earnings mark.

It was bombs away in the sub-featured $19,167 conditioned trot as Starlitcresentroll and Jim Morrill Jr. were able to wrangle the early lead from the outside eight post and never looked back from there in registering the $46.40 victory. The 1:57.4 winner is trained by Taylor Fritz and owned by Lucky Label Stable.

Swift completed the 12-race card with a triple while Monti, Morrill Jr. and Chindano Jr. all posted two wins each. Chris Petrelli and Thomas Mays each had training doubles.

Racing will return on Saturday with a 13-race card set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
