ARDC Online Contest Now Open!

2024 Atlantic Regional Driving Championship contest

Standardbred Canada has organized an online contest for the 2024 Atlantic Regional Driving Championship (ARDC), which is set to take place on Saturday, May 25, at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park in P.E.I. Post time is set for at 6 p.m. (ADT).

The contest features an assortment of questions based on the ARDC races. Each question is worth a predetermined number of points. The contestant who earns the highest number of points out of a possible 20 will be declared the winner. 

The winner will receive a $50 HPI credit and 125 TrackIT credits. 

Here are the contest questions:

  • Select the post position that will return the highest number of wins from the ARDC races. (4 points)
  • Select the driver that you think will win the first ARDC race. (4 points)
  • Select the ARDC race that will have the greatest margin of victory. (4 points) 
  • Select the driver that you think will win the ARDC. (4 points)
  • Select the runner-up for the ARDC. (4 points) 

The contest will close on Saturday, May 25 at 5 p.m. (ADT) / 4 p.m. (EDT). Click here for the contest rules.

Drivers receive points based on their official finish position in each ARDC race. The two drivers with the most points will advance to the National Driving Championship at Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivières, Que., on Friday, July 5.

The eight drivers will participate in eight competition races. Each race will have a field of seven, one driver will sit out in each race and each driver will drive from every post position once.
