James and Anthony co-own aged trotters Call City Hall, who won Race 3 in 2:01.1, and Credit Approval, who prevailed in the seventh race in 2:00.4. The MacDonald duo found themselves back in the spotlight with the winner of Race 9, Thy Worthys Jwl. The four-year-old trotting mare prevailed in 2:01 for co-owners Frank Cirillo of Kleinburg and Bruce Gaum of Toronto, Ont.
James has conditioned 25 winners this year good for nearly $140,000 in earnings. The 23-year-old resident of Guelph, Ont. has won 116 races earning $972,782 in just two seasons of training.
Anthony also drove Suntan Place (1:58) to victory in the fourth race for trainer and owner John Janes bringing his yearly driving win total to 91. Anthony has recorded 1,211 wins in his career good for over $9.7 million in winnings.
