D P Rocket brushed wide through the final turn, overtook the leader in deep stretch and captured Thursday’s feature at The Meadows — a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Trot — for her second straight victory.

Maewegonow repelled the first wave of challengers, but when Mike Wilder moved D P Rocket from third, she was the stronger mare, downing Maewegonow by a half-length margin in a career-best 1:54.3. Tamar rallied for show.

Tyler Stillings trains D P Rocket, a five-year-old daughter of All In Tad-Striking Annie who extended her career bankroll to $132,396, for Rags To Riches Of PA.

Wilder piloted four winners and Dave Palone three on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Friday when the 13-race program features a $3,166.38 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
