Byron Sidelined With Knee Injury

Driver Steve Byron has been sidelined indefinitely following Saturday's qualifying accident at Kawartha Downs.

Trot Insider has learned that Byron suffered a fractured knee and ligament damage.

Byron was transported to hospital following the accident in the sixth qualifier at Kawartha involving Hammers Cam, driven by Jason Ryan, and his mount Ucallthatanexcuse.

I'm sorry you're all broken up. My advice to you is... poultice the knee for a few days, follow up with a cool cast & drive on!!
