Trainer Tracy Brainard and her main client, Bulletproof Enterprises, enjoyed a profitable Saturday night at Georgian Downs when Oscar Oscar
and Waffles And Cream punched tickets to this Saturday’s final of the Upper Canada Cup.
On Tuesday night, Brainard kept the ball rolling for the Bulletproof Enterprises by returning to the Innisfill, Ontario oval and sending out a quartet of winners on the 12-race card.
Blue Suede Shoes got the party started with a 1:53.2 score in Race 3 for driver Luc Ouellette. The three-year-old son of Grinfromeartoear rallied for a half-length score for his owners, Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton, Florida. That colt’s stablemate, Iamperfectright, came up big in Race 4 thanks to his 1:53.4 triumph for driver Jody Jamieson. The son of I Am A Fool gave the Bulletproof Enterprises back-to-back wins.
The trio of Jamieson, Brainard and Bulletproof Enterprises also took Race 6 with Withheld Info, who thumped seven foes by 13 lengths in an impressive clocking of 1:53.2. Overwhelming Share was just as dominant for the same connections in Race 8. The son of Art Major romped to a five-length decision in a time of 1:54.2.
So far this season, Brainard has sent out 48 winners for more than $740,000 in purse earnings. She came into the 2009 fresh off a career year for wins (159) and winnings ($1.8 million).
