Jacob Cutting, the 2025 Up-and-Coming Driver and Up-and-Coming Trainer double award winner at Saratoga Casino Hotel, turned over training duties to his wife, Kendra Cutting, and thus far, they have been a force together, proving that fact on Saturday (May 2) as they teamed up for three winners on the afternoon card.

The Cuttings kicked off the Saturday card at the Upstate New York half-mile oval with Heavens Gona Rock, a seven-year-old Pet Rock-Numeric Hanover gelding that benefitted off a pocket trip out of post seven en route to a 1:57 score by a head in the $10,135 claiming pace worth a $8,041 purse.

Reinsman Jacob and trainer Kendra Cutting co-own Heavens Gona Rock for his third win in 10 starts this year.

In race four, a $16,892 claiming pace worth an $14,865 purse, Reigning Deo (pictured above) followed a similar path to his stablemate with a pocket ride from the rail to a 1:55.1 victory by a neck.

Morrison Gordon Racing owns the 10-year-old Rock N Roll Heaven - Little Miss K gelding for his second win in 12 starts this year.

Finally, Virgin Honor powered first over from the half to the winner's circle, winning his $10,135 claiming pace by a head in 1:58.1.

Max Moskowitz owns the seven-year-old Always A Virgin-Do Me Honor for his first win in his second appearance this year.

The training hat trick was the first in the young career of Kendra Cutting. She now has 14 wins in 42 starts.

Racing at Saratoga Casino Hotel resumes on Sunday (May 3) with a first post time of 12 p.m.
