Peter Paul Venturini, Peter Venturini III and Brian Malone's Smart Rokker cruised to an easy 1:52 triumph in the $15,000 featured Open Pace Monday at Harrington Raceway.
Trained by Malone and driven by Tony Morgan, the six-year-old Rocknroll Hanover gelding led every call and drew clear by six lengths at the wire over Sparky Mark and Just A Jolt, who rounded out the trifecta.
Smart Rokker notched his seventh win of the year, which matched his win total from 2015. The win was one of three for Morgan.
Coaster ($45.60, Montrell Teague) was a longshot winner for the second straight start for trainer co/owner Buddy Bright.
Getitoffyourchest ($26, Ross Wolfenden) was the fastest winner on the program with a 1:51.3 triumph for trainer Richard Lewis and owners David Banks and Layfield Horses LLC.
Teague, Wolfenden and Bret Brittingham each had a double.
