I Like My Boss ($10.20, Allan Davis) was a narrow winner in the $16,000 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway in 1:57.4.
Spunky Jack assumed early control from post position four and led the field through the first three quarters in 1:27.3. Spunky Jack began to tire in the stretch as the field closed in, and Gillie The Kid and I Like My Boss charged to the wire in tandem. I Like My Boss won a narrow photo for his second win of the year for trainer and co-owner Bob Shahan. Lucky Ten K finished third.
It was the 38th career win for I Like My Boss, a seven-year-old Don Boss Vita gelding who is also owned by Jimmy Parsons Jr. and Ashley Parsons.
Ross Wolfenden had three driving wins on the program.
