On Friday, May 16, the Ontario Racing Commission announced that it has granted the operators of Ajax Downs race dates in order for the track to be able to host cards of live Quarter Horse racing in 2014.
According to a 2014 Ajax Downs race date calendar which was issued by the ORC on Friday, Ajax Downs will host its first live card of the season this coming Sunday (May 18).
The ORC has granted Ajax Downs a total of 27 race dates this season, the last of which is scheduled to take place Tuesday, October 14.
