
Trainer Brandon Campbell was a triple threat at Century Downs on Wednesday, May 14, guiding all three of his winners to victory on the evening card.
Campbell kicked off the hat trick in Race 3 with a first-over rally behind Captive Mind ($28.10), who surged approaching the final turn and stopped the clock in 1:59.1. He returned to the winner’s circle in Race 8 with Skys Little Spunk ($8.90), dominating the competition with a commanding five-length victory in 2:00.4 over a track that was changed to 'good.' Campbell capped the night in Race 10 with Sandras Mystery ($6), who delivered a powerful first-over move and drew off to win by 7-1/4 lengths in 1:59.
With the triple, Campbell now boasts 16 wins this season and 908 lifetime victories. His seasonal earnings total $100,827, with career earnings reaching $6,276,867. He remains firmly in third place on the Century Downs trainer leaderboard.
