There aren’t many low-end claimers that garner headlines when racing at Woodbine Racetrack, but Not So Forgiving is worthy of getting his tires pumped for the simple fact that he stretched his winning streak to five-in-a-row over that oval during Thursday evening’s 10-race card.
Claimed for $6,000 plus allowances from his latest outing, Not So Forgiving used his closing skills to keep the streak alive for new owner/trainer Sheldon Rose of Thornhill, Ontario. Jody Jamieson mapped out the winning trip for the four-year-old son of Dragon Again-Nassau Loop.
After going just 1-for-30 last season, Not So Forgiving has really mastered the art of winning so far this year. The gelding now boasts an 8-for-16 record this year.
