The strategy of Southwind Aussi and Jeremy Indof forced Somemiki Hanover to a swift :55.4 half that made her vulnerable to the late charge of Southwind Aussie, who scored in a career best 1:53. Somemiki Hanover saved place, two lengths back, while Bittrsweetsymphony finished third.
