Trot Insider has learned that Neil Russell Armistead passed away peaceful in his Calgary nursing home on March 29 at the age of 80, with his children Dean and Deborah by his side.
He will be missed by his children and their spouses Lou-Anne and Bill; his brothers Mearle and Roger; sisters Doreen and Gloria; grandchildren Dylan, Devon and Amy; great-grandchildren Emmy, Oaklyn and Haidyn; and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Hazel, and sister Gayle.
A Celebration of Neil's Life will be held at Alberta Beach on Saturday, September 14.
