Doing It Right Out East

Despite many topics constantly coming to the fore as what harness racing is doing wrong, there are some places were people are doing things right.

Dan Mailman, the Executive Director of Harness Racing Nova Scotia will be on hand at this weekend's Atlantic Harness Racing Symposium in Truro, N.S. and one of the key sessions is titled "Doing It Right", which will examine among other things Horse Racing New Brunswick's video streaming and wagering platform, Halifax teletheatres and Building from the grassroots in places like Newfoundland, North Sydney, Inverness and the matinee tracks.

Standardbred Canada's CEO Ted Smith will be the guest speaker for the three-day event, which kicks off today and runs through to Sunday.
