No tickets had five of five in the Pick 5 on Tuesday night, April 8 at MGM Yonkers Raceway, triggering a hefty $9,456.76 USD carryover and a $25,000 USD guaranteed pool in the sequence on Wednesday night, April 9.
The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. The Pick 5, which begins in race five and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20 per cent.
Wednesday night’s 12-race program is headlined by three $30,000 USD divisions of the second leg of the John Brennan Trotting Series. One of the splits, in race six, will be part of the Pick 5 carryover.
Yonkers is operating on a Monday through Friday live racing schedule with post time each night at 6:45 p.m.
