Sophomore pacing filly Phone Terror romped to an open length triumph during Fraser Downs' Sunday card of racing to keep her undefeated 2012 win streak rolling
.
Trained and driven by Serge Masse, Phone Terror left from post two in the $8,400 purse 12th race conditioner and cruised through fractions of :27.1, :57.1, and 1:25.3 en route to a seven and a quarter length career-best 1:54.3 victory. Canyacrackher (Glenn White) and Panic At The Disco (Jim Marino) were the best of the rest finishing second and third respectively.
The heavy 1-9 favourite paid $2.30 to win for the fifth time this year in as many starts. The Western Terror-Mis Lex filly was purchased for $15,000 at the 2010 Lexington Select Sale by Surrey's Lucy Raymond and has banked $45,225 while finishing no worse than second in her 11 career starts. Among her conquests include the Muriel Fornwald Memorial Stake on March 11 and last week's Penny Bath Memorial Stake.
