Gamblers Passion made her sophomore debut a winning one in the $22,5000 second round of the Blossom Series on Wednesday night at the Meadowlands Racetrack

Driven by David Miller, Gamblers Passion came first up and sailed home in 26.2 to best Spoiled Beach (Ron Pierce) by 1 1/4 lengths in 1:52. She paid $6 to win. Terroronthebeach (George Brennan) finished third while her entry mate and pacesetter, Twin B Treasure (Eric Goodell), faded to fourth.
Gamblers Passion has now won three of four career starts for owner-trainer Kostas Tsanakos of East Rutherford, New Jersey. The daughter of Cams Card Shark-Beach Bretta was a $26,000 yearling purchase at the New Jersey Classic Sale.
The $70,000 Blossom Final for filly paces is next Wednesday, April 15.
