With 231 driving wins so far this season, 30-year-old Aaron Merriman is at the top of the North American heap, and people are taking notice

''I try not to pay attention to it, to be honest with you,'' he was quoted as saying in an article on ohio.com. ''I don't know how long it's going to last or whatever, but it's fun. Maybe it'll last for the year and I'd be happy about it. But I'm not going to put undue pressure on myself.''
A resident of Northfield, Ohio, Merriman has over 3,500 career wins. His mounts have banked more than $12 million in purses.
