The champions of the 2022 harness racing season in Quebec will be recognized at the Gala des Champions this weekend at Hippodrome 3R.
Track manager François Carignan expects a full house for the annual awards banquet on Saturday, April 8. An important gathering, the gala is a wonderful opportunity for horsepeople to come together to socialize, recognize the accomplishments of the big winners from the 2022 season and launch the new season that will begin on Sunday, April 30.
Track announcer Guy Lafontaine will be hosting the gala and Quebec Jockey Club Director Sophie Mongeon will assist this year.
Divisional award winners will be announced after the first part of the gala, which recognizes the province's 2022 major stakes winners listed below.
