Friday was a big night for Northfield Park's leading driver.
Chris Page drove five winners during the Friday, April 5 card at Northfield Park. Page’s winners included Southwind Miami ($3.40) in race one, Y Mach Me ($3.00) in race three, Sand Latte’ ($3.60) in race five, Sunny Sarah ($3.60) in race seven and Arion ($2.80) in race 13.
Page started driving in 2000 and has since garnered over 1,800 career victories and is approaching $7 million in purse earnings.
The 29-year-old reinsman leads the Northfield Park 2013 drivers standings. He has driven 124 winners this year at Northfield and leads Tyler Smith by seven victories. Ryan Stahl (59), Ronnie Wrenn Jr. (49) and Keith Kash Jr. (49) complete the top five.
Page has garnered 144 total victories so far in 2013, ranking him as the fifth winningest driver in the North America. Only Corey Callahan, David Palone, Ronnie Wrenn Jr. and Brian Sears have more wins this year than Page.
