Details regarding a groundbreaking ceremony for the new casino in Belleville, Ont. have been announced.
According to an article by insidebelleville.com, the groundbreaking ceremony for Shorelines Casino will take place on Wednesday, April 27.
The Ontario Gaming East Ltd. Partnership will be hosting the groundbreaking ceremony that will be kicking off at 10:30 a.m. at the site at 330 Bell Blvd.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, which is located at 407 North Front St.
‘Shorelines Casino Belleville’ will be located near Highway 401, on Bell Boulevard.
The 48,000-square-foot facility is expected to be ready for operation by the first quarter of 2017.
The facility will be home to 450 slot machines, two entertainment stages and 22 gaming tables. The casino’s owner/operator, the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, will be investing $41 million to make the project become a reality.
