Pimlico, Laurel Lost Combined $20M In 2010

On Friday, April 1, state regulators in Maryland released Pimlico Race Course and Laurel Park's combined loses in 2010, and the numbers were not pretty whatsoever.

According to a report by The Baltimore Sun the Maryland Jockey Club-owned tracks lost a combined $20 million in 2010.

The article also explains that Maryland Jockey Club President Tom Chuckas has said that he believes that tracks will break even this year if it they get $3.6 million in aid to cover day-to-day operating costs.
