Eagle Jolt and driver Marc Campbell won Saturday night’s feature race in 1:57.3 at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Eagle Jolt pressed to the front en route to the half in :58.2 after a battle ensued between Bazillion (Brian MacPhee) and Best Risque (Jason Hughes) that posted an opening quarter in a sizzling :27.3. The pacer rolled by the three-quarters in 1:27.1 before using a :30.2 closing panel to seal the deal over Idealic Life (Steven Shepherd) and First Art Down (Ken Murphy). It was the third winner of the night for Campbell after scores earlier with Abner The Great and Casimir Luciano.

Eagle Jolt is owned by Wilbur and Marie MacDonald, Orwell Cove, PE.

Frill Seeker dominated the open trot in 202.1 for driver Kenny Arsenault, who enjoyed a four-win performance on the 14-race card. The trotter, who is owned by Ebbsfleet Stables of Stratford, Ont, notched the 25th win of his career.

Arsenault also recorded wins with DBs Rosco (1:58.2), Cabo Pan Lucas (2:01.1) and Waterside Light (1:59.3).
