Allard, Lifestream Mindale Unstoppable

Canada’s leading driver Simon Allard had the hot hands on Friday night steering a total of six winners on the 11-race program at Flamboro Downs including the veteran pacer Lifestream Mindale, who has collected nine consecutive wins

Allard commenced his six-bagger with a pair of victories for his brother, trainer Rene Allard, with Ocean Lavec (1:58.3) in Race 2 and Berosus (1:58.4) in Race 4. He then began a three-race win streak in Race 6 with Burnt Stew (1:58.3) for trainer Shawn Robinson, Assassins Eyes (2:01.4) for Randy Ertel and Lifestream Mindale (1:56) for Bill Robinson. Finally, Allard concluded the night with one more score in the 11th race aboard the Shawn Robinson pupil, Bah Nessa (1:56.3).

With his six victories tonight, Allard’s seasonal win total jumped to 171. The resident of Hamilton, ON has won 828 times in his career good for over $6 million in purses.

In his eighth race assignment for $8,500 claimers, Lifestream Mindale, a 12-year-old son of Life Sign-Brooke Lobell owned by Gerrie Tucker of Montreal, QC, rode the pocket and squeezed up the rail to edge out pacesetter Mach It Paid (Mike Langdon) by a head for his ninth win in 13 starts this year giving him $22,290 in earnings. He returned $4.90 in winning for the 69th time in his career.
