Fast Lane Wealth and Yarhos starred in a pair of $7,500 British Columbia Sires Stakes eliminations for three-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday night at Fraser Downs

Fast Lane Wealth broke her maiden with a stunning 10-3/4 length victory in 1:55.2 for driver Keith Clark and trainer Kayla Mills. The Swinging Lifestyle-MJG Saphire miss, owned by Barbara Mills of Delta, B.C., earned her first win in 13 starts while defeating Red Star Betsy (Gord Abbott) and Moonlight Sugar (Scott Knight). The overwhelming 1-5 favourite paid $2.40 for her overwhelming win.

Penny Bath Memorial Stake runner-up Yarhos converted a pocket trip in to a 1:56.4 score in her elimination, using a :28.4 final frame to zip up the inside and prevail by three-quarters of a length over pacesetter and last year's B.C. Breeders Stake champion Cheyenne J (David Hudon). Passing The Girls (John Hudon) journeyed first over to finish third. Yarhos returned $8.70 to her backers as the 3-1 third choice. J.F. Gagne drove the Seven Seas Cruiser-Dealmeahos filly to her second win in 15 career starts for trainer Richard Lancaster and owner-breeder Ray Soh of Delta, B.C.

After finishing second with broken equipment in his debut for new connections during last week's Open, Killean Cut Kid took a new career mark this time out in the $12,500 event.

Killean Cut Kid and trainer-driver David McKellar advanced to the lead from fourth after the opening quarter and cruised home to a one and a half length tally in 1:52.4 over Midnight Destroyer (John Abbott) and Jans Rich Girl (Scott Knight). The Mach Three-Winning Lin gelding paid $5.90 to win as the 9-5 bettors' choice. The eight-year-old, a career winner of 22 races and $177,580 in purses, was claimed on April 8 at Fraser Downs for $20,000 by local owner Donald Young.
