Driver David Kelly capitalized on his duties Saturday, April 28 at Century Downs, capturing five races on the nine-race matinee program.
Kelly began the card with a natural hat trick. He piloted Queen Of Thrones from a second-over trip to a one-and-one-half length victory in the opener, winning in 1:56.2 and returning $25.00 to win. He then steered Camita B And E to a $22.50 upset off a rail trip in 1:56.3 before guiding odds-on favourite Miss Bojangles to a pocket-popping win in 1:57.1, paying $2.80 to win.
Outlawburntpopcorn, paying $13.80 to win, gave Kelly his fourth winner later in the program, going a first-over mile before winning by a half length over pacesetter Run And Tell in 1:57.1. Kelly capped the afternoon with a wire-to-wire performance behind Hush A Bye Baby in the penultimate race on the program, paying $10.00 to win in her four-length score in 1:56.4.
