Driver Corey Callahan and trainer Josh Green capped off a big Tuesday evening at Harrington Raceway by winning the $18,600 Mares Open
with Baron Racing and David Rovine’s Bling in 1:55.1. Callahan had four winners on the card, three of which were aboard Green-trained horses.
Bling, a five-year-old daughter of Scoot Outa Reach, received a two hole trip behind pacesetter Itz Cherry Ripe and surged by in the stretch for a one-length win. Itz Cherry Ripe held second while Full Circle Patty finished third. It was the first win of the 2011 campaign for Bling.
Driver Jim Morand had three winners on the card. Montrell Teague won the daily double, while Allan Davis also recorded two winners.
