Five For Forward In Windsor

Windsor Raceway’s Sunday evening program was owned by driver Brad Forward, who made his way to the winner’s in five of the 10 races

.

Forward, who leads all reinsmen at the border oval when it comes to winning races, added to his impressive stats starting with a 1:59 triumph in the opener behind Imadragon. He had a quiet stretch from Race 2 to Race 4, but he really heated up during the back half of the card.

He piloted Crown Heights to a 1:54.3 score in Race 5 before coming back for a 1:53.3 tally in the very next race with Yulovepebblebeach. Fooled Ya’s 1:55 decision in Race 8 gave Forward the Grand Slam, and he bumped his nightly win total to five thanks to Brookfieldpoketime’s 1:55.2 win in Race 9.

The O’Brien Award finalist in the Driver of the Year category for 2009 recently surpassed $23 million in lifetime earnings. The career winner of 3,790 races has already picked up 151 wins so far this season.
