Things didn’t go very well for Bullet Point when she took on Woodbine Racetrack foes on April 19, but she rebounded for a solid score in Thursday’s $7,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 at Flamboro Downs.
Sent off as the 1-5 favourite, Bullet Point went to the front and didn’t look back for driver Brad Forward. She supplied panels of :28, :57.3 and 1:25.3 before stepping home in :29.2 to win by five lengths over Katherine B in 1:55. Sydney Seelster rounded out the top three finishers.
Trainer Blake MacIntosh co-owns the 30-time winner with Stu McIntosh of Essex, Ontario. The lion’s share of the loot offered bumped her lifetime bankroll to $461,454.
