Winning It, who has been unstoppable in early closers at The Meadows, rolled to her fifth straight victory Friday with a blowout in the Tremor Hanover Pace
.
Tykesa Moon and Kaitlin Kir also took $15,000 divisions in the series for three-year-old fillies, which concludes with next Friday’s final. Dave Palone, who had three wins on the 15-race card, teamed with trainer Ron Burke for a stakes double with Winning It and Tykesa Moon.
Winning It was away a leisurely fifth when Palone tipped her off the cones. She quickly left the field behind and scored by five and three-quarter lengths in a career-best 1:52.1. Jolt Of Jo was second, with Perfect Pose third. Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Panhellenic Stable own Winning It, a daughter of Dragon Again out of Day After Day.
In the $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace, Cams Van Go overcame post nine with a front-end victory — her fourth consecutive win — in 1:50.4, a lifetime mark. Spring Break was three-quarters of a length back in second while Jans Luck earned show dough. Greg Grismore drove the six-year-old daughter of Real Artist out of Cams Valentine for Chris Arold, Ken Kohut and Michael Drury.
