In 2001, after much success racing Down Under, Lyell Creek N was brought over to North America. The millionaire went on to thrill his fans with multiple top-class and stakes wins. Now, at the age of 17, the gelding is back doing what
he loves.
The son of Roydon Glen is now with an outfit called 'The Horsemen Experience' in Canterbury, New Zealand.
For a fee, interested participants get to put racing equipment on Lyell Creek N and ride in a two-seated jog cart behind him. Afterward, the participants take the equipment off, wash 'Lyell' down and put him back in his stall.
In 2002, Lyell Creek N took his mark of 1:52.2 at age nine.
