Two $18,000 conditioned trots were co-featured as the top class at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday (April 20) and Eden Onthehill posted the faster split.

Eden Onthehill and driver Phil Hudon made their second appearance together at the Campbellville oval a repeat performance of their first show the week prior, this time winning by two lengths in 1:55 flat.

At the opening quarter in :27.1, Eden Onthehill tucked away in the pocket as longshot Barroom Brawl Boys held the front. The Pinball Wizard was quick on his toes, taking over from the longshot just before the half in :57. After The Pinball Wizard and Tyler Jones cleared, Eden Onthehill made his move, four lengths off the leader at the three-quarters in 1:26.3. Down the stretch, Hudon and Eden Onthehill pressed on, winning by two lengths in a career best effort. Rough Tuff Tested (James MacDonald) sped to a second-place finish and Creed Hanover (Austin Sorrie) maneuvered to a third-place finish.

The four-year-old son of Muscle Hill and the Cantab Hall mare Taylor Jean is conditioned by Mark Goddard for his second win in two starts this season and third win overall in eight career starts. Howard and Joshua Kaufman co-own Eden Onthehill.

In the second $18,000 class, a condition trot for fillies and mares, Bob McClure steered Lindys Irishcream to a career-best time in 1:55.4.

The daughter of Father Patrick was sitting fourth at the quarter pole in :27.2 before popping off the rail as they approached the half in :58.2. McClure and Lindys Irishcream continued to advance, sitting second on the outside at the three-quarters in 1:28 before sprinting in the stretch to win by two lengths. Enola (Tyler Borth) was second and No Turning Back (Tyler Jones) was third.

Lindys Irishcream is trained by Blake Macintosh, who co-owns the three-year-old filly with Tim Klemencic. The win was her first start this season and fifth career victory in 12 starts. As a freshman, the filly posted a record of 4-2-2 in 11 starts with more than $73,000 made.
