In the overnight feature on Wednesday (April 20) at Harrington Raceway, Ginger Tree Skyr won a $15,000 conditioned event for trotters in 1:56.

Owned by Nick Callahan, Yorwollan Racing Team and Gregory Godbout, the six-year-old Explosive Matter gelding led most of the way and held off a fierce stretch kick from Remarkable De Vie for his third win of the year. Ginger Tree Skyr is trained by co-owner Nick Callahan. Corey Callahan drove the $10 winner.

Bonjour Mary Ellen ($4.60, Jim Morand) started the card with a maiden-breaking win for trainer Les Givens and owners Nanticoke Racing, Jim Magno, and Joe Fonte. The Charlie De Vie gelding was a wire-to-wire winner with his namesake, harness racing fan Mary Ellen Black in attendance. Black's son is long time racing writer Ted Black.

Driver Tony Morgan won two races on the Wednesday card at Harrington Raceway, to close within 1 win of 17,000.

Tony Morgan won his 16,998th race aboard Command The Market ($9.20) in the ninth and Air Time ($22.60) in the 14th. Only Dave Palone has won more races lifetime. Morgan will be competing at Harrah’s Philadelphia Thursday and Sunday before returning to drive at Harrington on Monday.

Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule.
