Feeling Sweet Swoops To Harrington Win

George and Tina Dennis' Feeling Sweet was an upset winner in the $20,000 Mares Open Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.

The four-year-old Sweet Lou mare hit her best stride in deep stretch exploding off cover to catapult by the leaders and earn her second win of the season. Infinite Symbol A was second with Sassas Sister third. Trained by Joe Columbo, it was the 11th win for Feeling Sweet and she paid $84.20 to win. Driver Mike Cole and the same connections later teamed up to win with All Night Party ($3.80).

Trainer Josh Green and driver Tim Tetrick teamed with back-to-back winners, both from post 8, with Satdnite Jukebox ($12.40) and Anytime N ($3.60). Green trainee War Crimes ($14.40), driven by Pat Berry, also won to give the conditioner three winners for the second straight night.

Art Stafford Jr. drove two of his three winners for trainer Josh Parker as Betterthanamisus N ($3.40) and Woman In Gold N ($8.60) both prevailed.

Corey Callahan had a driving double.
