Pepsi North America Cup eligible Easy Again lowered his lifetime record and the North American season's record for sophomores to 1:50.1 with a sixth length romp in his $15,000 conditioning assignment Friday afternoon at Harrah's Chester

. The race was three and four-year-old male pacers that are non-winners of five races or $50,000 lifetime.

Easy Again ($2.40) inherited third position during a hot :25.4 opening quarter with Montrell Teague in the sulky. The heavy favourite advanced to the lead after the :54.2 half and hit three-quarters in 1:22. Easy Again then drew off with a :28.1 final frame to lower his mark by one second and four-fifths. Early leader Eastwood Blue Chip and Daryl Bier finished second while Ask Directions and Victor Kirby rounded out the top three 10 lengths in arrears.

The Dragon Again-Kuklapanandollie colt, now two-for-two this year, is owned by the Kovach Stables LLC, Theodore Gewertz, Robert Feldman, and George Teague JR Inc.

Trainer George Teague Jr. told Trot Insider earlier this month that his colt is aiming for the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and Somebeachsomewhere Stakes pre-Cup.

Easy Again ranks ninth in Trot Magazine's Pepsi North America Spring Book and has been assessed at odds of 25-1.
