Brown Notches 3,000th Win

A driving double at Kawartha Downs on Tuesday’s 11-race program helped veteran teamster Gord Brown reach a major milestone

The Brighton, Ontario horseman joined the 3,000-win club when he captured the eighth race with the Randy Van Meer-trained Amazon Art. The four-year-old son of Artsplace halted the teletimer in 1:53.4.

Brown also clicked in the very next race with the Bernard Wills-trained Arts Mac in 1:58.

Brown has racked up more than $1 million in earnings in each of the last five seasons. His lifetime bankroll sits at more than $13.5 million to date.

Congrats Gord.Clarke told me that he is only 2,990 wins behind you!And I told him that all of his wins were at Orono and that they did not keep track of wins back in the 50's LOL Good luck and go for another 3,000.
