Preferred Repeat For Acceptable Risk

For the second week in a row, Acceptable Risk front-stepped to an impressive win in the $15,500 Preferred Pace at The Raceway at the Western Fair District

With Trevor Henry at the helm, Acceptable Risk shot to immediate command from Post 2 and threw down fractions of :28.1, :58.2 and 1:26.4 before jetting home in :28.3 to post the half-length score over Val America in 1:55.2. Just Crowned rallied from out of the clouds to finish third in the eight-horse affair.

Dan Morrissey conditions the nine-year-old son of Intrepid Seelster-Southernbound Lady for David Morrissey of Ailsa Craig and Dan McCann and William Woodburn of Parkhill, Ont. The charismatic campaigner, who owns a 3-3-4 record from 13 trips postward this season, won for the 49th time in his career while pushing his lifetime earnings to $714,893.
