The Grand Circuit staked three-year-old pacing colt Fourever Boy headlined Tuesday morning's (April 19) qualifying set at The Meadows, winning his second consecutive qualifier over the season-debuting Ohio champion filly Sea Silk.
Fourever Boy romped to a 13-1/4-length qualifying score in 1:54.2 over the 'good' track, setting fractions of :29.3, :58.3 and 1:26.1 along the way. Mike Wilder drove the Sweet Lou-Macharoundtheclock colt for trainer Tim Twaddle and co-owner Micki Rae Stables. Sea Silk, driven by Chris Page, finished up in second with a :27.4 final frame, individually timed in 1:57, for trainer Ron Burke. Four-year-old pacer Octave was third.
Fourever Boy, who is eligible to the 2022 Pepsi North America Cup, followed up his 1:55.4 outing last week.
