A seven-pack of qualifiers were contested on Monday at Grand River Raceway, which will kick off its 2011 racing season next Monday, April 25
.
Ourboyjosh was the fastest of the seven qualifying winners on Monday. The Mark Austin-trained son of Western Terror toured the half-mile oval in 1:59.1 for driver Travis Henry.
Other qualifying winners were PC Silentseduction (2:03.3), Ver Oye Going Now (2:02.3), Some Strike It Hot (2:06.4), Scotty Doesnt Know (2:04.1), Had Me From Hello (2:03.2) and Jodys Charm (2:02.4).
Racing secretary Diane Twasnick has put together the condition sheet for next Monday’s opening night card, and horsemen are reminded that the entry box will close at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 21.
