Major League N and Ed Hensley rounded the bases on top by 1-1/2 lengths through every quarter in :28.1, :59 and 1:27.4 over a sloppy track. Turning for home, she brushed off her foes and went on to win for the second time this season by three-quarters of a length in 1:57.2. Exotic Dragon (Travis Cullen) finished second and Laila Blue (Travis Henry) was third.
Major League N (Gotta Go Cullen-Candlestick Park) is owned by Ed & Ashleigh Hensley. Trained by Ashleigh Hensley, the 11-year-old veteran mare has 39 career wins and $383,335 banked from 163 starts. She returned $5.20 to her backers at 2-1 odds.
