Although Cyrus Seelster fashioned a front-end victory in his series opener, he was sent off from the rail Tuesday at a middling 7-1. Trainer/driver Ed McNeight, Jr. and Cyrus Seelster waited patiently behind the dueling leaders, Rage N Ryan and Doctor RJ, then poured through the Lightning Lane to score in 1:53.1. Rage N Ryan finished second, while Luke Henry rallied for show.
Chris Oluvic owns Cyrus Seelster, a Dragon Again-Cerulean Dream gelding who shaved two seconds from his lifetime mark.
Dungeon Dragon and TSM Warhol T also took $15,000 second-leg divisions in the series for three-year-old colts and geldings.
Dave Palone piloted six winners, including Dungeon Dragon, on the 15-race card.
