According to an article by the Canadian Press, Wade Gordon Crozier, a former Harness Racing PEI employee, has admitted to stealing from the organization

The report states that the 39-year-old resident of Cornwall pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of theft over $5,000 and uttering forged documents. A third charge of fraud exceeding $5,000 was stayed by the Crown.
The case was adjourned until next Thursday, when a sentencing date will be set.
Crozier was an accountant with Harness Racing PEI in Charlottetown at the time of the offences.
He resigned from the company just before police launched an investigation last September.
