It has been reported that and executive from Canadian racetrack operator Great Canadian Gaming Corp. recently won a Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth $4.3 million.

According to an article by the Delta Optimist, Brian Egli, who has worked in the gaming industry for the past 20 years after a 24-year career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, was given a cheque last Friday for $4.3 million.

Egli, who has spend 13 years serving as a vice president for GCGC was quoted as saying "I think it may be time to retire." He also stated that he would be meeting with his fellow executives to discuss options.

"After checking my numbers I told my wife, Bea, that we had won the big one," Egli explained. "Her response was, 'Sure we did Brian.'"
